About The Founder
Free State Consulting Group was
founded by Brian McIntee after a successful thirty year business career. Brian has over twenty years of experience in
financial management, including five years as a Chief Financial Officer in the wireless industry. Additionally, he has
ten years of sales and operations executive leadership experience with a Fortune 50 company. Brian earned an undergraduate
degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. Some highlights of Brian's diverse career
include: - Mergers and Acquisitions. Brian has successfully completed multiple acquisitions
and led the entire process from valuation of targets, negotiation of terms and conditions, due diligence, raising capital
to fund transactions and, ultimately, integration of operations.
- Capital Structure
Management. Brian has demonstrated the ability to raise capital through the sourcing and negotiation of a $90 Million
revolving loan and the amendment of an existing $420 Million credit agreement resulting in less onerous covenants and increased
financial flexibility.
- Financial Turnaround. Brian led a successful financial
turnaround that required the implementation of a rigorous internal control system and measurement process, dramatic improvements
to the company's cost structure and renegotiation of existing debt.
- Sales and Distribution
Success. Brian designed, launched and oversaw the sales distribution network for Sprint in the Mid-Atlantic Region,
one of the company's most penetrated and profitable markets.
- Operational Expertise.
Brian has led several complex cross-functional projects including the seamless migration of 200,000+ wireless customers to
a new technology platform. This effort impacted all aspects of the business and achieved greater efficiencies, marketing flexibility
and improved customer satisfaction.
- Organizational Integration and Restructuring. With
nearly twenty years in the highly competitive and constantly evolving telecommunications industry, Brian has implemented numerous
organizational restructurings and cost optimization programs that resulted in successful operational synergies.
